Postcard Mailer for a Big Beam Portable Emergency Lamp from Maxson (circa 1940s) - $5 - (Waynoka, OK)

This historic, collectible 3 by 5-inch folded postcard—addressed (by hand) to “Waynoka Fire Dept. Fire Chief, Waynoka, Okla.”—is from L.V. Maxson, a factory representative for Big Beam, “America’s Finest Portable Emergency Electric Hand Lamps.” It is not dated, but estimated to be from the early 1940s. This double-sided, 4-page postcard includes a 1½¢ cancelled stamp. It measures 7 by 5½ inches (unfolded). This postcard is in excellent vintage condition, with the exception of tears in the bottom of one card where a staple was removed.
