New with tag, a large tote bag by Merchant and Mills, England, whose slogan is “Indispensable notions for your sewing pleasure.” Bag has unique printing on each side: one side has an image of their classic sewing scissors and the other side has a list of the things that should be in your sewing box (tailor’s chalk, thimble, dressmaking pins, seam ripper...). Bag is heavy 100% cotton canvas in two tones of brown. Measures 15 inches long by 15 inches wide by 5 inches deep. Handle drop is 10 inches. Has an interior pocket and snap closure. Tote bag was part of a collection for Uniqlo that really introduced Merchant and Mills and their terrific vintage-inspired patterns to the U.S.
