2 Vintage FILM REELS Goldberg Bro projector movie theater steampunk house cinema - $99 - (St. Ignace, MI)

Lot of 2 Empty PROJECTOR FILM REELS 14.5 inch 14.5" Pre-1950s Goldberg Bros Empty House Reels Bronze/Brown Reel is imprinted with these words: Mfg by Goldberg Bros Denver Universal 342 Silver/Grey/Gray Reel has a company logo crest & is imprinted: Made in USA Reg Denver HISTORY: The term "house reel" refers to solid heavy constructed sturdy reels owned by the movie theater. Films would arrive on flimsier "shipping reels," and would then be wound onto house reels like these for projection. I have listed several lots of different style reels. ALL of my reels are HOUSE REELS, used in our family owned theater in the early to mid 1900s. My mother dates all of them as pre-1950.
