Limoges China ca 1920's - Wm Guerin & Co, Pattern GUE23, 5" Berry Bowls (6) - $26 - (Maumee, OH)

I am offering six 5" Berry Bowls of Limoges china produced by William Guerin & Company in France in the 1920's. Pattern GUE23 is an ivory base bordered by geometric and floral decor done in yellow, purple and green. The face with horns in the border is known as the Green Man from Celtic folklore. He is a deity of the woods seen in works and medieval church architecture from the turn of the century. he is also seen in German, English and French folklore.The six 5" berry bowls I am offering are in excellent condition with no fading and the gold rims are intact. There are some light surface scratches from flatware use over the years. I have additional items in this pattern up for sale. I am happy to combine shipping.
