Vintage 60's Factory Case Box 144 Ideal Motorific 1965 Barracuda Slot Car Bodies - $1,500 - (Media, PA)
Vintage very rare and very hard to find 1960's Motorific original factory shipping box full with 144 car bodies. The 144 near mint to mint unused battery operated Ideal Motorific 1965 or 1966 Mopar Plymouth Barracuda 'Cuda Formula S muscle car slot car body bodies are in the original Ideal factory box that has 6 layers of 24 bodies each. This auction is for all 6 layers or 144 bodies and the large original box with packing layers and partitions. The cars are marked on the inside "Ideal, Hong Kong, 4276-2". The heavy, large factory box measures 19" by 12 1/2" by 8 1/4" and it is marked on both long sides "Ideal, Customized, IBM No. NF - 4276-2, Barracuda, 12 Dozen, Made In Hong Kong" and on both short sides "IBM No.NF 4276-2, 12 Dozen". The box shows some storage wear and tape reinforcement as pictured. All 144 bodies are 1/43 or 1/32 scale (4 5/8" long by 1 3/4 wide by 1 3/16" tall with a 2 1/2" wheelbase). They show some very minor storage wear as pictured. These bodies have never been used. All "Barracuda" gold foil stickers are still on one side of the cars only as they should be. The chrome parts are in mint condition. They all have blue tinted window glass. They are in factory mint unused condition. The cars, box and partitions are sold as is and as pictured with returns not accepted. $50.00 postage.
