Here is the 2nd revision of the Ginny identification book, The Colorful World of Ginny. Wanting to have this book as the best identification book, I have made some new changes.Two drawings of dolls in 1959 have been replaced with color photos. In 1956 the Dec. Star Plan has a new photo to replace the small bad photo. We now have what I think is proof that Barbara Ann Scott was not the skater at the Escapades in 1952 where Ginny dolls dressed as a skater were given out. I am not sure if they were gifts or sold. American Ice skater Ginny Baxter was the skater that Ginny was fashioned after..You will see what I think is proof in the new photos that have been added. In 1951 one of the coats shows the hat that came with it. Some more photos have been upgraded to show off the outfits better. There is now a section on Ginny furniture. This book covers Ginny from 1949 -1962. As you can see in the photos most of the pages hold 6 color photos. The Crib Crowd dolls are included. At the top of each page is the year, so it is easier to find where you are in the book at any time.. In various places throughout the book we have put over 35 of our Vintage Ginny Cards photos. In the early years Vogue used many colors for some outfits. A section showing Variations following each early year was added to show some of the variations. We think this is the best book out that shows every Ginny in each year in large color photos, there are over 850 photos. The book comes with a spiral binding. Thanks for looking.
