* 4 PC 19TH CENTURY COFFEE SET * REPOUSSE & HAND CHASED * NO MONOGRAMS * We are offering for sale a gorgeous four piece antique solid, hefty sterling silver cast, repousse and hand chased coffee service made likely mid to late 19th century by an unidentified maker; paired with a handsome silver plate serving waiter tray by the POOLE SILVER Co. All are hand crafted matching pieces with finely chased floral and foliate Rococo decoration, and domed covers each with finely cast floral finials. This wonderful silver set includes the following: HINGED LIDDED COFFEE POT - 11-3/4" tall by 9-3/4" across by 6" dia.; 5-1/8" dia. footed base. LIDDED SUGAR URN - 10" tall by 7-3/4" across by 5" dia.; 4-3/4" dia. footed base. LIDDED HOT MILK JUG - 8-1/4" tall by 5-3/4" across by 4" dia.; 3-5/8" dia. footed base. WASTE BOWL - 5-3/4" tall by 6-1/4" dia.; 4-3/4" footed base. TOTAL STERLING SILVER SET WEIGHT IS 2,873 GRAMS (excluding the waiter tray weight). WAITER TRAY - 25-3/4" (handle to handle); 21-1/4" long by 15-5/8" wide by 2-1/2" high. Each piece marked STERLING and without an identifying maker's mark (see photo). The silver plate serving waiter tray is marked EPCA, BRISTOL SILVER BY POOLE and model number 73 22. Condition is excellent for the entire pre-owned antique set. Constructed with very heavy walls so as a result is there are no dings or dents, the handles are good and secure, and the insulators are in good shape. The silver plate serving waiter tray is in excellent used condition. Overall, a very good clean surface with little to no wear. There are no monograms on either the coffee set or serving waiter tray; likely with monogram removal.
