Red Shoe Run/Walk 5k and Half Marathon - N.A. - (Iowa City, IA)

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois “Red Shoe Run and Walk 5k and Half Marathon” will be celebrating its 35th year in 2019! Participants can start checking in or register for the race at 7:00 am. The event will kick-off with a fun 100 yard dash for kids called “Ronald’s Run”. Soon thereafter the half-marathon and 5k officially starts! The route will take place on the streets and public trails of Iowa City and Coralville. Along the route will be water stations and “Cheer Zones” to root for the runners. Outside of the race we will have a Kids Zone that will include a bounce house, inflatable obstacle course, face painting, balloon animals, and representatives from the local children’s museum.
