This auction is for a rare authentic ancient Roman bronze provincial coin of Gordian III, Bithynia, Nicaea, 238 AD-244 AD. On the obverse side: Bust of Gordian III. On the reverse side: Four military standards, two Legionary eagles. This coin is in very good condition with beautiful patina. Measures 20mm across. Found in Europe. Reference: SNG Cop 526.
