VTG 60s STARBURST SPUTNIK SPACE AGE GLASS SHADE MCM CHANDELIER 4 LIGHT FIXTURE - $220 - (Villard, MN)

Wow, it's groovy! Very MCM light fixture, featuring a milk glass shade with starburst design in light gold, rod has a great Danish modern wood insert with new antique brass canopy, finished with a brass and wood ball Danish modern finial with antique brass metal bottom. No chips in the glass but there is a very small dot of paint loss on the inside of the shade, it appears to be a production flaw. It is very hard to see and doesn't affect the look of the light once installed. New 4 cluster socket and wiring, works perfectly. Sockets will take 60 watt bulbs each, so this can put out 240 watts if needed, or more if using the newer LED bulbs that take less electricity and heat, but put out more wattage, it's a win-win. Regular shaped standard bulbs will fit fine into this. 12.5" drop from the ceiling, 16" across the shade. Includes all mounting hardware, ready to install when received. Our items come from antique stores and auctions, many times we do not know the origin of our lights so some parts may be contemporary while some parts are very antique. Beautiful addition to your mid century modern remodeling project!
