American Waltham Watch Co., Full Hunter Case, outside width 2-1/8", 3/4"thick, 14kygf., 15 Jeweled, circa 1900. Movement measures 1-5/8", 42 m.m.. AN ABSOLUTE BEAUTIFUL POCKET WATCH, nicely floral engraved on both outside covers, with an engine turned design on both outside edges, and nice floral engraving on the rest of the face and back covers. Weighs 4.97 oz., 95.7 dwt., 148.grams Perfectly clean serrated edge, (no dents). Roman numeral enamel face, with 60 seconds numbered in red, every 5 seconds. Crown wind, lever set. Movement # 17681184. One of the back covers has an anchor with rope, hallmark for, (25 yr. case.). Above, and below a # 167420. Inside back cover has a 1-1/4" unpolished circle design, and the balance, gleams of bright yellow gold, like the rest of the watch. The inside of the movement cover has a Damaskeening design pattern or wavy appearance, real nice. The enamel face is 100% clean, with spade hands. The hinges are perfect and all covers close tight. Just got the watch back from my jeweler today, and it is running fine, and gave me a 1 yr. warranty at the time. (See it, with pictures.) He recommends fully winding,, it about 30- 40 times back and forth, to keep it running properly. This is the best looking and cleanest watch I have ever owned.
