Vtg. Classic Blue Nordic English Ironstone celery dishes-lot of 7 - $195 - (Bella Vista, AR)

Up for consideration are J & G Meakin Class Blue Nordic English Ironstone 10-1/2" x 6" celery dishes. J & G Meakin was founded in 1851. Blue Nordic was produced in the 1970's & is dishwasher safe. The makers mark in on the bottom of the plates. Blue Nordic resembles the Blue Onion fine porcelain design produced by Meissen in the 18th century. Blue Nordic was also produced by Johnson Bros. 5 of the 7 are in excellent condition w/no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. 2 have chips on the underside-not noticeable from the top.
