Other: Uncommon pictorialist view of palm trees at Palm Beach by photographer and author John Martin Hammond, Philadelphia. This image appears in his book Winter Journeys in the South (1916) under the title, “A Memory of Palm Beach.” John Martin Hammond was a photographer and author from Philadelphia active during the early 1900’s. His books were accompanied by his photographic work and included the above mentioned title as well as Quaint and Historic Forts of North America, Colonial Mansions of Maryland and Delaware as well as articles for photographic publications of the day.
