1870's Antique Real Baby Carriage Wood & Metal in Alabama / Free S.E. Delivery - $600 - (Rainbow City, AL)

This beautiful 1870's Baby Carriage is over 4 foot long. It is 56 & 1/2 inches long.It rolls and everything is working. The solid wood wheels have metal bands.The leaf springs give the baby a little bounce as it moves along. I had it restored in soft antique Ivory colors.The bed has a fluffy soft ivory rosette pattern in the material. The pad is satin. The black upholstery has a beautiful swirly embossed pattern in it. See umbrella picture.The umbrella has an antique looking tatting type fringe. This would make any collector proud.Would be an excellent photo prop. Would also be great holding a collection of large dolls.It stands with umbrella straight up 49 inches tall. The width at the widest part measures 27 inches. The pictures don't do it justice. Great condition for its age.The outside foot area had a slat that was cracked but is secure see outside foot slats picture.The handle has a tiny crack where it bolts onto frame on one side. It looks like it was done when manufactured.Very solid. There are a couple places on the wood that have small age related defects. (tiny chips)When the umbrella is tilted a little back or forward it is slightly uneven. Can provide more photos. Comes from a clean smoke free home.
