Up for auction and probably one the best painted Floral shades you will find on ebay, is this Stunning & Exquisite Late 19th century Victorian Huge GWTW oil lamp Ball Shade! Simply Gorgeous with vivid colors. The Shade stands approx 11" tall and is 11" wide and has the standard 4" fitter bottom opening. Nice thin opal glass that's completely hand painted with 2 Exceptionally large roses in full bloom and one additional partial rose bloom and one Closed rose bud off to the side. On the back side is one large rose bloom & bud. The colorful background on the sides and though out are pink, blue & Green. it also has it original brass metal heat ring on the top of the shade (see photo). Excellent condition with no damage. No chips or cracks and no fading to the painted surface...What a Gorgeous shade! These larger shades don't come up that often and when they do they go pretty fast and pretty high! Just take a look at some of the past closed auctions on Floral hand painted shades of this size. The last 2 photos I have the shade displayed on one of my Large 27" tall Banquet lamps. The Lamp base is not for sale, just used it to display this Gorgeous shade!
