GORGEOUS pair of nubby barkcloth panels- true vintage- “guaranteed to be vat prints” “pre-shrunk” fabric. Beautiful clusters of medium pink, deep pink and cranberry colored cabbage roses and rosebuds frame a subtle design of a cottage, trees and a fence sketched in medium gray and charcoal. Background is an off-white / very light cream (not bright white). Beautiful texture-gorgeous pattern-lots of fabric! Very cheerful. Vibrant colors. Panels appear to be homemade – they are lined and have drapery tape for hooks at the top. Each panel is 45 inches wide and 73 inches long as sewn- there is a 4 inch hem in each panel- so more fabric if you wanted to take the panels apart and use them for something else. I do not see any holes, tears or fading; crisp, strong fabric; barkcloth has a few light yellowed spots (see pics) you can see when you hold the fabric up to the light – probably from prior use and longtime storage. Three tiny spots- maybe rust. Drapery tape/lining has some frayed edges. Last few inches of 1 hem was pinned in place. NO peculiar odors. Overall really nice. Sold as shown.
