Antique C. 1890's China Porcelain Low Brow Doll Cloth Body 16 1/2" Approx. - $79 - (Victoria, BC)
I have for auction an interesting antique porcelain doll. She dates to around the late 1800's given the molded black hair, stuffed body and porcelain lower arms and legs; her hands are made of bisque. She measures approx. 16-16 1/2" and is in very good condition. Her clothing is new and I am not sure whether the cloth body has been reconditioned or is perhaps new as well. Her paint appears to be in excellent condition and I cannot see any chips, cracks or breaks to the head; One of the porcelain legs has been cracked and repaired (see photo).. She is part of a huge antique doll collection. Buyer to pay s&h charges. My preferred method of payment is via Paypal. Please NOTE Canadian buyers must pay appropriate taxes for your Province.
