Up for sale is a beautiful large hyalite opal from San Luis Potosi, Mexico! It is in good shape and fluoresces green in shortwave UV light. It weighs 3 pounds 5 ounces and measures approximately 9 1/4" x 5" x 2 1/2". Pictures were taken dry indoors (UV picture was taken with an 11 watt shortwave UV lamp). Please note that you will need a shortwave UV black light to see the fluorescence! Regular black lights and longwave lamps will cause little to no response.
