Just like in 1851, the Mint struck 'restrikes' for collectors and it is estimated that just 30 to 35 exist. This example is very pleasing with deep mirrored fields and enough frost on the design to lead us to feel it merits a 'cameo' distinction. Both sides are very flashy with the obverse being white while the reverse has a faint lavender-blue hue.
