18th Century Carved, Figured Cherry Signed Virginia Hepplewhite Pembroke Table - $575 - (Columbus, OH)

Beautiful carved and figured native cherry Hepplewhite Pembroke or Breakfast table, c.1790, made in Virginia, and signed. It is very hard to make out the pencil writing on the bottom. Could either be Winchester or Wirtz VA, with a lovely dovetailed drawer, mostly original surface, and likely original oval brass pull. Great tapered,carved molded legs, wonderful figuring and patina makes one not mind the old stains on the top. Top is one board, and the remainder of the table is figured cherry with pine secondary wood. Found in an estate near Winchester, VA, this gem is precious! Buy with confidence- what you see is what you get. Really sweet little breakfast table would fit well in a small kitchen, next to a sofa, tucked against a wall,or in a great room. With the leaves up, it is a nice, small dining room table. It also fits nicely between two chairs or under a window.
