Not sure what the history is but it looks like a Impala amplifier converted to a speaker cabinet. It is in mint condition - nary a scuff. Carr quality all around. Heavy duty speaker wire and jack. Can add a 12" Weber California ceramic 8 ohm speaker for an additional $80.
