ANTIQUE ROSENTHAL COVERED BOWL "THE GAMBLER" BY FRANZ HALS 4" DIAM 3" HIGH - $20 - (Bridgewater, MA)

Offered is this hard to find old covered bowl made in Germany by Rosenthal after Franz Hals famous painting "The Gambler". Franz Hals, Dutch, 1580 - 1666. Measures 4" diameter, 3" high and 1.75" to the rim. Back stamped with an old mark and also signed Sanscousi and marked The Gambler from Franz Hals inside the cover. It's in excellent condition with the exception of gold loss on the cover due to many years of handling.
