Signed Japanese ceramic sculpture enameled 'fisherman' - $650 - (Amherst, WI)

Very fine quality enameled pottery or porcelain figure of a fisherman with possibly a rod wanting.I would guess late 19th or early 20th c.Unidentified seal verso.Size: 16 x 8 x 4 in.I have never seen this quality of Japanese ware except in bronzes.Any info you have would be appreciated.
