Vintage Lite Brite 1967 Hasbro Color Glow Pegs in Original Box Works - $80 - (Elk Horn, IA)
Lite-Brite has been named one of the top 100 games of all time. It was invented by Joseph M. Bruck, a senior designer at Marvin Glass & Associates of Chicago, Illinois. They licensed the game to HASBRO. This is the original game that was marketed in 1967. It consists of a light box with small plastic pegs that fit into a panel and illuminate to create a lit picture by using prepared templates or "freeform" images on a blank sheet of black paper. There are eight original peg colors: red, blue, orange, white (clear), green, yellow, pink and violet. This offering is 100% original and includes: original box in good, but not perfect condition, main light box (light works), template patterns (used & bent), glow pegs including one bag green & yellow, one bag orange & red, one box blue & violet and one box white & pink.
