Bronze Casting with Richard Butz, February 16, 2019 - N.A. - (Vergennes, VT)

Join us for a hands-on introduction to the sand casting process. Participants will experience sand casting bronze objects by doing it themselves: ramming up the mold, attaching gates and vents, lighting the furnace, and pouring the molten metal. By the end of the day they will have enough experience to be able to purchase equipment and supplies to begin working on their own. (Ages 14+) Please bring a lunch, water, closed toed shoes, long pants, and preferably clothing made from natural fibers. Min Enrolment: 4 (participants will be notified 1 week prior to the class date and refunds issued if min is not met) Max Enrolment: 6 LCMM Course & Workshop Refund and Cancellation Policy: Refunds are permitted up to 1 week before the class. After 1 week before the class, refunds and date changes will not be permitted due to registration minimums. It’s not fair to the other participants for a refund to necessitate the cancellation of a class within 1 week of the course.
