Vintage Christy Longneck 5-string Banjo with Case - VEGA Strings - Folk Style - $695 - (Carthage, TX)

Vintage Christy longneck 5-string openback banjo in very good condition. As I understand it, these were produced in Colorado in the 60s-70s era. I found some links to more info about these that I'll be posting below.Although my knowledge on this type of banjo is somewhat limited, I'll do my best to set it up to sound and play good for the new owner.I noticed the tuners and armrest are vintage Elton parts. Some of the other hardware seems very similar to what ODE was using back in the day. The banjo looks to be all original, including the friction 5th string peg.My asking price is negotiable.
