Antique Royal Dux Hunter Figure Bohemian Sculpture, c1900 - $450 - (Pompano Beach, FL)

This listing is for a vintage ROYAL DUX figurine depicting a hunter with bow and arrow returning from the hunt with his catch.It is beautifully modeled showing the bow, the quiver holding the arrows and fowl that he caught. He is dressed in a sheep's skin clothing which can be felt as you run your hand over it.Also great detail on the hands, fingers and feet as well as the detail on the forest stump that he is sitting on. Examined under black light, there are no chips,cracks,crazing or repairs. It is stamped on the bottom with the antique unglazed royal dux pink triangle mark along with impressed numbers 426 and 18.The pink triangle has the impressed letter "E" which stands for Eichler, the company founders surname. The "E" represents the earliest mark and dates the piece between 1860 and WW1 (1918). it measures 12 1/2 inches tall and the base is 3 3/4 in x 5 1/4 in. It weighs 4 lbs 5 oz
