< Ampeg Gemini I 1966/67 I am selling my Ampeg Gemini I that I have owned for over 30 years . I played it extensively from 1988 - 2000 with my 1965 Fender Vibrolux Reverb and a stereo volume pedal . This was a great combo as the Gemini I was used mostly for rhythm and the Vibrolux on lead with a little of each blended with the pedal. I haven't used it out since 2000 but in 2014 I recapped it and put it in my studio where its been ever since. I'm selling it as I have a 1966 Ampeg GS12R Reverberocket 2 and a Gemini I chassis that I am rebuilding into a head. It's become too much for me to carry and I no longer play gigs where I need to carry more than one amp. The amp has been recapped ( electrolytics) and I left most of the vintage coupling caps where ever I could. I checked all the caps for leakage and values with a Sencore Z meter and replaced resistors that were out of tolerance. The speaker may not be original as the original was a C12Q this speaker is a 1967 C12N a upgrade from the C12Q. Buyer will pay ALL shipping costs, including insurance, packing and shipping materials.
