Fender Brown Concert 1960 - $1,795 - (Umatilla, FL)
< 1960 Fender Brown Concert I am selling my Brown 1960 Concert . I have owned this for over 30 years . I played it extensively in 1989 - 2000 with my Silvertone 1446 ( which I still have ) at the Monterey Jazz Fest , the Las Vegas Blues Fest and Blues fest all over the US and Europe with Floyd Dixon . It's became too much for me to carry and I no longer play gigs where I need to be that loud. This is a LOUD amp . I have a Concert chassis with a blown output transformer, that I have replaced and was going to mount it in the 2-10 cabinet I have FS . But still too heavy. So I had a head made to hold the Concert chassis . ( for the 3 or 4 times a year that I play with a band) The amp has been recapped and I left many of the Astron yellow coupling caps where ever I could as well as the Blue coupling caps ( can't remember the brand) I checked all the caps for leakage and values with a Sencore Z meter and also replaced resistors that were out of tolerance. I was recapped within the past 5 years This is a very early 1960 serial number 01794 . The speakers are not original and may need reconing. I am open to replacing them with 4 brand new Jensen P10R that I have . Contact me if you prefer the Jensen P10R installed.
