This model of our original dulcimer stand is made of select clear pine which has been finished with a cherry stain and sealed with polyurethane. The stand is 23 1/4 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches wide at the widest point; the base is 10" X 4". The dulcimer does not hang from pegs but sits on a cork pad; the pegs are adjustable and swivel up and down from 3/4 inch wide to 8 1/4 inches wide to keep your instrument from moving side to side. We have a added a felt lined "pick" pocket to the back of the stand to keep those picks from wandering off. As you can see from the photos, this stand will work for many different styles of mountain dulcimers in addition to the traditional style.
