Panasonic AG-1970 Editing VCR with Modified AG-A96 Editing - $250 - (Preston, ID)

It's been great for converting tapes to digital, but I'm done with that. The included AG-A96 Editing Controller has been modified to remove the second control cable since nobody goes tape-to-tape anymore and having a second cable getting in the way is a nuisance. The controller means you don't have to use the controls on the VCR itself and the larger time display is a bonus.
