Vintage FLAMINGO UKULELE by EMENEE with Arthur Godfrey Uke Player, Plastic,1950s - $110 - (Hastings, NE)

Offered here is a vintage FLAMINGO UKULELE by EMENEE and the ARTHUR GODFREY UKE PLAYER (makes playing chords easier). Its color is cream and marbled brown, and it is 21" long. This uke is in excellent condition--no chips or cracks and the color is still excellent. The strings hold their tune well. On the back of the head is what appears to be residue from glue. Many of these old EMENEE ukes had a plastic tuner (a kind of whistle with four tubes) glued to the top. This one, however, is still just as I found it. Please look closely at the photos; they describe it better than words do. In my childhood I played a uke just like this, so when I saw this at an estate sale, I knew I had to have it. It joins a banjo, an all-metal ukulele, a violin, and four guitars in our home. But my wife and I are now well into our 70s, so we are downsizing.
