Gorgeous Antique Vintage Violin, German Made, Great Figured Maple - $195 - (Lyndon Station, WI)

Beautiful vintage violin in my opinion. not sure of exact age or even maker. Came from the luthiers bench of a music store and they say German made. The high figure maple back and sides is gorgeous. Looks like there were a couple of smaller hairlines that were sealed to stop them from going further on the top lower treble side. Looks like varnish or hand rubbed finish but Im no expert. I can only give you my opinion. My opinion is this is a nice old vintage instrument. I put it in a more recent hard case because it is more protective. no bow. This is a fullsize instrument.
