Custom Vintage Ford 8000 Ertl Pedal Tractor 9600 Conversion - $750 - (Oakwood, IL)
This is an original Ertl, Ford 8000 pedal tractor, that I have customized to resemble a model 9600, like my own personal tractor (pictured). Completely disassembled and the castings were primed and hand sanded to a mirror finish. It's been refinished in original Ford tractor blue, in expensive, Nason automotive basecoat/clearcoat paint, ugh! I had the local decal shop make a one-off set of factory style decals, along with the original Ertl set. I built a new widened rear axle and added (new) dual wheels, and new wheels up front too. I built it with strictly exhibition in mind, but it is still fully functional as it originally was. I have added a picture of the toy when I got it. It's the perfect, farm collector's gift...one they will always treasure!...Hmmm?
