Vintage Macey Oak 4 Drawer File Card Catalog Dovetail Box - $150 - (Norristown, PA)

This is a Vintage Macey Oak 4 Drawer Card Catalog Box Made by Fred Macey & Co. The style of logo suggest it was made in the earlier part of the 20th century, sometime after 1908. Solid Dovetail Joinery. Drawers accept 3x5 cards. Outside box dimensions are 13-3/4" wide x 17" long x 9" high.Good solid functional condition. Some scratches, stains, and small chips and nicks. Generally pretty good for an item of this age. Joinery is solid. Card sliders are all good. Aged patina on the brass hardware. Some cracking in the wood on the drawer bottoms, where the nails go in, which looks like it's due to age and drying. The bottom slats are chipped off the the four corners. See photos.
