Hot water heater--electric - N.A. - (Sullivan, IN)

My hot water heater blew up. I just bought 2 new elements, trying to fix it. aparently the thermostat was bad too. Im on a fixed income and buying a new 1 is out of the question. If someone has 1 they have replaced or a house being torn down with a good heater. Would be thankful for any help.... as close to Sullivan county as possible. Thank you.
