vintage book stand - reading stand, cookbook holder, music stand - $30 - (Allston, MA)

Selling my lovely vintage reading / cookbook / music stand that I got from a thrift shop years ago. Accommodates a wide variety of book sizes at adjustable angles and heights for reading. I have used it in the kitchen, at the piano, while studying and reading for pleasure. It's great for keeping books at eye height while reading to avoid neck problems. It is also very useful for keeping heavy cookbooks open and out of the splash zone in the kitchen. Sorry to let it go, but I'm on a downsizing project. Size: Collapsed for storage, the stand is approximately 15.5L x 11.25W x 5H and standing upright it is about 17L x 12W x 18H (exact dimensions depend on what angle and height you set up the stand to be, it's very adjustable). Condition: The stand is overall in good condition and the finish has stayed remarkably intact. However, this is a vintage item. There are scratches, spots and some very slight rust. Pictures taken to show examples. From a distance of 1-2 feet these things are not very noticeable and even less so when the stand is actually holding a book. Label says "Ponten Reading Stand, Berkeley Cal."
