Offering this wonderful pair of Victorian GRAND SCALEwalnut figural carved Corner Chairs - Each Chair has two full bodied carved Griffins - GREAT detailed quality carving - They have turned spindled backs, legs, and stretcher bases - These were found in Philadelphia where they had been in a private collection - Horner quality but not likely made by them as I'm not aware of them working with walnut - Definitely American C. 1880ish - Upholstery is original with a few rips and stains - Each Chair is 31" wide and deep at the turning on the leg and 32 1/4" tall - Finish is original - Check our other Auctions for quality Antique Furniture and Architectural Items -Buyer pays Shipping - Will be glad to help with quotes.
