Antique Iron Medical Chair Upholstered Metal - $395 - (Brunswick, GA)

Very unique velvet upholstered antique medical chair. Upholstery appears to be original. Years ago when I first got this chair I did a lot of research & ended up finding someone that was selling just the frame to the same chair. That person's frame had the name of the manufacturer but I cannot find it in my mountain of notes (yet). I did determine, however, that this was a podiatrists chair. Even when I found the manufacturers name I still could not find this chair so I can only assume it is unlikely you will see another.The condition is very good overall. The upholstery has a worn spot on the left arm & there is a stain on the seat (see last pic). That round indentation you see on the seat is from a motorcycle helmet laying there for a few days, not permanent. The frame is in great condition. The chair will lie completely flat. There is a prop rod missing that holds the foot rest up ( we made a makeshift prop so we could recline in it). We think it would be very easy to recover because metal covers all the seams. Chair is HEAVY. We're guestimating it weighs about 100lbs.Dimensions: 45" tall (as it sits in the picture) x 28" wide x 42" deep (incl head rest mount to foot rest).Head rest is adjustable up & down.I may be able to remove foot rest & head rest if it needs to be shipped.
