Mountain Dulcimer - $175 - (Butler, TN)

Made by Watauga Lake Dulcimers. The back and sound board are made of cherry. The sides are red oak. The fretboard is oak with 1/8" veneer of cherry. This is a large body design. The lower chamber is 8" wide, and the upper is 7". Total length is 36". The fretboard is 1.5" wide. The vibrating string length is 28.5". The instrument has a nice mellow tone and good volume.
