Lundberg Baroque Lute - $15,000 - (Chicago, IL)

Edlinger style thirteen course baroque lute with Braz. rosewood bowl with ivory spacers, pegbox in ivory. This is a timewarp lute since it was built by Robert Lundberg (d. 2001), and has never been played for more that a couple of hours. It is flawless, no cracks.....perfect. It comes with a custom case made by the maker. Lundberg was the "Dean" of the worlds lute builders, and literally wrote the book on lute building in the 20th century. His precission is unsurpassed, this a true work of art, 36 yrs old and totally in showroom condition. Images on request. This instrument must be sold in the U.S. because its has lotys of ivory in its construction so it cant go abroad.
