ANTIQUE OR VINTAGE MADDOX HEPPLEWHITE STYLE MAHOGANY TAMBOUR DESK - $295 - (Hillsboro, OH)

Offered here is a vintage or antique Maddox Furniture Co. mahogany Hepplewhite style tambour desk. This desk is in very good vintage condition. It was probably made between 1930 and 1950. It has a folding writing surface, and several small flame mahogany striped with satinwood drawers for storage above that, which can be covered with the sliding tambour doors, which slide well. There are also accommodating slots for paperwork. Below the writing surface are two long flame mahogany covered striped drawers for more storage. This desk is in very good condition, but does have some age and use related issues. The most noticeable of which are some scratches on the inner writing surface. Please see the last photo. Otherwise, the desk in in good condition for its age, showing only what would be considered very minor signs of use and age. It is stable and sturdy.
