Vintage Zildjian 18" Ride Cymbal - $75 - (Santa Cruz, CA)
This vintage cymbal was probably crafted in the early 60's or late 50's. It has nice hammering and lathing. Weighing in at just under 4 pounds (about 3 pounds 14.5 ounces according to my small digital scale), it has a nice higher pitched ping with a decent amount of washy undertone, and a very nice bell. It is crashable, but is probably best as a left-side ride.It does have the small 3/16" crack leading from the keyhole, but there is no buzzing coming from this small crack, and the likelyhood of a keyhole crack expanding is very small if proper mounting of the cymbal is practiced and the cymbal is not tightened down all the way and resting on bare metal anywhere.Price has been adjusted accordingly, and I am open to offers.Thanks.
