Antique, historic ultra rare WWI eye surgical set.Inscription states: EYE CASE Par. 914 M.M.D 1917 G.P.Pilling&Son Co. Philadelphia Contract Dated June 15th 1917. Set appears to be complete with extras. Size of the box is 13x8x3 and weighs about 4Lbs.The bandage packet is still unopened.The compact satchel on the left contains a lens for close inspection of the patients eye(a monocle) which works quite well. There is not a single set as in good of a condition on the market.Currently Historical Museum of Medicine and Dentistry has one in their possession but it is a younger 1918.Instruments in this set are in their original state naturally some patina and minor "impurities" are expected and desired. We are adding the extras as a bonus and not as part of the auction.This is a NY storage unit purchase several years ago.Thank you!
