Vintage ROCKWELL model 126 Porta Planer w/ Orig Box & 2 Spiral Cutter Heads - $359 - (Martville, NY)

I’ve had this planer for 15 yrs. Its in very good condition, runs strong and has been serviced by Syracuse Industrial, Porter Cable/ Rockwell sales and service. The cutter head on her is very good and she has one extra carbide head that was resharpened once -still has that rubber stuff on the sharp surface. The original box was painted black before I got it and the bottom isn’t painted but has some surface rust. Ive never seen any rust spots on the box exterior so the black exterior paint should strip off somewhat easily and expose the original grey like the interior. I stopped using her when Ron at Syracuse Industrial had the carbide cutter resharpened and told me “These are no longer available”. She’s been sitting under my bench for about 7 or 8 years. Still got a few shavings in the box from then.
