This spring’s Doodlebugs classes are inspired by the images of President Kennedy in the CRMA’s newest exhibition, AMERICAN VISIONARY: JOHN F. KENNEDY’S LIFE & TIMES, on display February. 2-May 19. Join us for each class as we highlight a different aspect of the president’s life, from his childhood to the White House, incorporating a read-aloud story and a simple art project. Registration required and limited! *January 27: Stars & StripesLearn about the American flag’s symbols and colors in today’s story, and then experiment with red, white, and blue paint to see what happens when they get mixed up. *February 27: Swimming in ArtDive in to today’s story and art project that’ll definitely make a splash! (No really, and it’s gonna be messy!) *March 27: Mirror, MirrorTake some time to reflect on the magic of mirrors with today’s story, and then make a mirrored work of art to take home.
