VEX Robotics Competition at Widener University - N.A. - (Chester, PA)
The Widener University School of Engineering will host a VEX Robotics Competition in its Schwartz Athletic Center on Sunday, January 20, 2019. Guests are invited to attend the action-packed tournament featuring 500 high school students from Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas competing with and against other teams in a series of back-to-back robotics challenges. The students will compete for the championship title by driving robots they designed, built, and programmed using VEX EDR. Each team will battle head-to-head in the VEX Robotics Competition game, Turning Point. In Turning Point, players must program and execute the robots to stack caps on posts, flip caps, stack balls on caps, toggle flags by throwing balls, and park the robots with each maneuver earning a different point value. This event is perfect for students and parents interested in the growing field of robotics engineering. All of welcome!
