Discussion of archaeological digs in these locations, review of Erik The Red's exploits, and a "new view" of the earliest settlements on our East Coast. Book is very large format hardcover, clear mylar dustcover in a slipcover case, as noted; gilt-edged pages, in like-new condition...definitely a candidate for coffee table status.
