Antique Mid-19th C. Walnut and Walnut Burl Armoire with three working locks and original key. 2 hand carved scroll style motif front feet. Square wood feet in rear. Top drawer has green baise lining throughout and serving utensil dividers. 4 shelves inside, 3 of which are removable. and 1 large storage capacity drawer below. Dimensions; 62 inches high x 29 inches at the lip, wide, and 25 inches at the sides-wide and 18 inches deep. Feet are 4 inches and the top is 5 inches and is removable. This armoire was imported from a country home in Denmark in the early 1990's and has been very well cared for ever since. Non smoking pet free home. The original design and purpose of this armoire was to be used in or near a dining room for storage of serving plates, platters, utensils, and linens. However, it offers multiple storage options especially as the 3 shelves inside are removable. Approx. weight is 85 lbs.
