COMPAUD-141 Component Video and Digital & Analog Extender is a transmitter and matching receiver kit that allows a user to separate component video devices up to 330' (100 m), far beyond the reach of standard video cables. The Component Extender uses a single common CAT-5e network cable to connect the sender unit and receiver unit over great distances. It can support resolutions up to HD 1080p without any reduction in video quality. It also can transmit two-channel (left + right) analog or digital audio. Sample applications include broadcast or home theater installations where a media source needs to be in a remote and/or secure location away from the receiver or display.
